The 2019 season brings uncertainty, as the protracted appeal over a ridiculous "scandal" with a single actor still has not been resolved. On the field, Mizzou faces what appears to be a much easier schedule than in years' past. The early season is loaded with home games before a protracted road stretch from mid-October through November.

Hamas' Crystal ball sees a lot of variance. I could see this team winning as few as 7 and as many as 10 games. Georgia is the only certain loss. Florida is likely still overrated by name, but time will tell.

Official prediction: 9-3. Recruiting prediction: slightly disappointing

That struggled against James Madison. I will say that the defense looked quite a bit more sound this week, albeit facing another limited QB. Running game looked solid, especially when the linemen kicked out on zone plays.

Passing game still has little deep threat. Wouldn't surprise me to see the offense face numerous 8 man fronts this year.l

Speaking as a James Madison graduate with parents in West Virginia, a lot of WVU fans expected them to lose that game last week, and they probably should have. Madison is really, really good for I-AA, and WVU is in pretty bad shape right now after losing Dana Holgersen and basically their entire offense from last year. I would say enjoy the win, but don't read too much into it, or take too much from it.
