Chris Simms dissected this play on 2 of his shows that were posted in the lounge. Andy schemed it perfect due to our personnel. Chris said something to this effect. We have a superhuman who can throw at crazy arm angles while being hit and still throw it 57 yards downfield off back foot to the only receiver in the league that can run that route because he has 3 rockets in his ass. Nobody in the league can match that combo or match up to it.

two other factors are at work here too.

1. Hill is so fast he can run half way across the field and it all the way back to the other sideline. Who does that?

2. Mahomes' arm is so strong he can retreat 14 yards and launch a rocket for 57.1 yards to make that play.

Its just not fair. Go ahead and try to defend it, its unreal. The Patriots talking about that route is all you need to hear. They were fucking amazed by it all.

It was a busted coverage. But huge part of that is because the play is pretty much a cheat code. If do right, no can defend.
