He's much MUCH more valuable here than elsewhere and his attitude is absolutely perfect for this team. The problem is that we have a milquetoast, braindead asshole in the dugout that doesn't actually know how to handle personalities.
I agree. Way more valuable to us than what we can get in trade. Same with Carp. Just don't see his value to other teams as much as he is to us. The only value we have is in pitching to get a MOTOB.

Mike Matheny will still be 'the right man to lead this team into the future' and we'll continue to languish in mediocrity because 'getting an impact bat is hard'...
Ownership is the problem right now.
After 6 fucking years, you would think that meat head would have got better at managing a bullpen. At this point, it's on owners. We all know he is what he is. [Reply]
Piscotty with his 4th SB of the seas.... oh wait. Carpenter swings and fouls off the ball when he's 3/4 to second when the catcher is just about to receive the ball. [Reply]
I don't see what value Schwarber will have to anyone. He's a bad bodied, three true outcomes DH. There are dozens of those guys in the league right now. [Reply]

The Yankees still very much love Schwarber but Theo continues to tell them hes not available. A lot of his problems this year was Maddon trying to make him a ****ing lead off hitter for the first half of the season. His OPS for the 2nd half of the season is .899 with a SLG thats nearly 200 points higher. They missed their chance to go after a Severino with him, but they still have plenty of top arms in their system that are near their shot in MLB. [Reply]
6 damn years and his bullpen management is still embarrassingly horrible. How can someone do any job for 6 years and not get any better at that job? How is that even possible? [Reply]
