Guessing it's here and we're just starting to see the numbers.

I was in the grocery store tonight and the lady checking out in front of me put her debit card in the reader, punched in her pin, and then covered her mouth with that same hand while waiting for the transaction to complete. I was SMH.
A lot of that is subconscious and hard to control. Those pin pads are one thing that really makes me freaky about going out to shop, almost everyone touches them and you have no idea how often they are disinfected or even if they are at all.

Same here. I’ve been trying to use Apple Pay as much as possible nowadays.

They raised the limit on the tap payment if your card has that option.

In order to know if my card has it I'd have to know what the hell tap payment is.

Card with a chip can just tap interac screen and automatically pays without having to put in your pin. Just machine with card .

I'll have to look into that. I do know the local QuikTrip doesn't make you punch in the pin if your purchase is less than $14.99 which is nice.

I've turned to carrying a 3oz bottle of purel around in my pocket. The checkout girl gave a sideways grin at me when I used it after using the pin pad.
