That’s what my friends at the hospitals here in Springfield think too

The new imperial college report out today thinks there’s a larger number of people in U.K. and Italy infected and that the actual number may be 130x higher than the reported number

Is that right? I didn’t read that right surely

There’s hot spots

For sure

I’m hopeful the ones that did and are doing due diligence have it pay off. San Fran locked down early and they’re doing well

I don't think that's necessary. Big cities have already done this and it's really not that needed out in the boonies.

Is that because that's how many they think are walking around infected that don't know?

Things are tough in NYC but the rate of doubling at the levels they had initially just didn’t happen. As the Gov said they did a good job of getting the doubling of cases down to once per week when it was once per two days initially.

Very optimistic.

Also optimistic that CA won’t experience the huge growth that NYC experienced. They keep telling us it is about to come and the numbers, while going up, are doing so more slowly than expected.

Wouldn’t surprise me and would make this about as deadly as the flu.

The only difference as we all know was that this causes a full season of sickness in a month or two. I’m convinced that’s the main thing contributing to the higher death rates in places like Italy. Hopefully we avoid it.
