Whoever wins, at least there's no way they could be stupid enough to make a humiliating clusterfuck out of the vote totals again.

Right?....

:-)

There will always be loopholes to avoid paying, especially when you’re wealthy enough to have tax firms look into the paperwork for you.

I'm looking to get the hell out of the bay with a job that provides better coverage.

Harder then it sounds I turned down a job in FL that paid 22$ an hour but came with shit insurance.

Oh what could have been.

You posted a Reagan video. I'm listening to it. It's a warning about socialism, sure. I don't see it as fear-mongering.

Which people?

Provide more funding to the IRS. Increase the penalties for non-payment. Reduce tax loopholes.

This isn't hard.

I posted a quote from the video where he was talking about how the government was going to tell doctors where they could live and would eventually dictate their pay. Pretty obvious fear mongering that turned out to be completely wrong, and conservatives have been doing it for much of the last century.

The programs I listed are very popular with the American people according to empirical data via polls. If you have evidence to the contrary, please provide it.

If you want to head back here to North Missouri, I can hook you up with a job in the $20/hr. ish range with full medical benefits. And rent will be astronomically cheaper than what you are used to I bet :-)

I see it now. Well, thankfully, whatever socialist health care plan being proposed back then didn't come to fruition, right?

They probably are, and I have no doubt that they are high among the retirees. That's what happens when you create a dependency.

And that Medicaid is popular among the poor. Free stuff is popular. That's hardly a surprise.
