Nzoner's Game Room>Is Home Field Advantage Fading Across The NFL?
petegz28 06:29 PM 10-14-2019
Heard a blurb this morning that either a record or close to a record has been set so far this year for road team wins.

Just some notables I have seen thus far this season...

Chiefs 1-2 at home
Baltimore gets blown out by Cleveland at Baltimore
Dallas get worked over by GB at home
Rams getting worked over by TB and SF at home

Right now Detroit appears to be working over GB @ GB but it is early

It seems like the home field advantage is starting to fade at least for the moment

As a Chargers fan, what is this thing you refer to as "Home Field Advantage"?

It's surprising to me, but very true.

Yep, just like how the Lions got so ripped off not once but twice on the same call against Trey Flowers. :-) That official should be fired.:-)

I don’t know. They keep telling me that Arrowhead is record-setting loud, but every time I go, you can hear a pin drop.

I’m pretty sure I heard a singular clap on TV yesterday.

I hadn’t noticed any false starts or delays of game at Arrowhead yet this season. I definitely noticed a lull until the Texans were at the line of scrimmage on second or third downs. Gotta be loud during the huddle and on all downs if you can manage.

Short term results that have no statistical significance.
