Chiefs Salary Cap Question - Move Coming?

Anyone have an idea of how much cap space we had going into the weekend?

There's some speculation on Twitter that according to the NFLPA Report, the Chiefs have somehow lost around $8M in cap space today and are sitting at $3.5M

It wouldn't be an extension, as the 2017 cap numbers are already set. That's odd.

I'm not sure I but it but they WERE at around $11 million last time I checked.

You could add a little to the cap by covering future salary to a bonus, but not $8 million.

That doesn't make a lot of sense unless they traded for a WR or something.
