Dean Wade is a pretty damn good player right now. If Weber knew what he was doing, he'd play through him more. Fortunately for KU, he doesn't.

Nice job, KSU! I wondered when they played KU tough if it was just that KU is a bit down this year or perhaps KSU is a lot better than we thought. Perhaps a combination. As for Weber, I always thought he was a decent coach (not including end of games scenarios) but wasn't a great recruiter. Look at what he did at Illinois with Bill Self players. He got them to the title game. That being said, his teams slowly went downhill over the subsequent years when it was Weber recruits. Same thing at KSU. Was it his first year or 2nd that they tied KU for the Big 12 title even though KU beat them head to head 3 times? :-)
Squeaky is not a great coach by any means, but you could do a lot worse.
