I don't think he gets traded until the first round is complete. I think he gets traded for a combination of a second rounder plus something next year. That's my guess. It seems like every year there is someone available that people think will bring a first and they never do, but when the second round comes around that player is traded. [Reply]

If this compensation is the case id be okay with it. Our second plus a second next year i could live with. But all the talk of a first plus leaves a bad taste in my mouth. [Reply]
Niang is not a LT for fucks sake. He is a RT, he has never played LT. And for everyone saying well Fisher moved from Left to Right, that’s because it was easier. You will not put a RT who has never played a snap at LT in college at LT in the pros to protect the GOAT Mahomes blindside [Reply]

If Veach and Reid believe that Niang can play LT....then I’ll take their opinion over yours. [Reply]

Naw, they have other interests for allowing that happen. If Naing is the LT, there is legitimate cause for concern. Dude is coming off an injury, and hasn't played in more than a year. Plus, when he did, he was a RT. [Reply]

That is categorically untrue.
Guys that played guard in college have moved to tackle in the pros. Heck, guys that played tight end have played tackle in the pros.
It's all about physical skills and scheme fit. NFL rosters aren't nearly as rigid as you think they are. [Reply]
