Amazing

Literally, 65% of the reported covid by CDC this week occurred more than four weeks ago.

Deaths continue a downward trend, while it appears on worldometers & counters that there was an increase this week.

Note: There’s 50k backlogged unexpected deaths to report. https://t.co/MkcZ5TqpTd pic.twitter.com/dgJ9Vs4dUZ

The longer time goes I feel better about my decision not to have joined or followed anything on twitter or Facebook or any other social media.

It's difficult to distinguish gibberish from truth.

Smarter people than me have looked it his stuff and said it's gibberish. Also if you go back to his earlier posts he was basically saying it was a hoax (although he'd probably have some gibberish as to why that wasn't what he was saying).

He's an anti-vaxxer too, if you read some of the other stuff on his site.

We've got 2 more therapists out who are positive for COVID. Day 6 and day 9. The PTA on day 9 is doing very poor. I got him a pulse oximeter today and he's registering 80%. He sounds terrible and says he feels very SOB. I had him contact the urgent care that did his test and ask for medical advice. The hospitals are filling up here so many times they are asking you to stay at home until absolutely necessary. He's mid 50's and is in good health. He hits the gym 4x per week, eats healthy and isn't over-weight. I am very concerned with how he was doing today.

The other has a mild-mod case. Says she felt more SOB today but oxygen SATS running 92-95%. She's also mid 50's and has some variable health issues.

Both have nausea/vomiting which are making it hard for them to eat and stay hydrated.

You have to understand that you are dealing with populations, not individuals when you are looking at R(0) values. Lets take a population of 100 (for simplicity's sake) that are infected with COVID19. An R(0) value of .59 doesn't mean that no one is transmitting the disease. On the contrary, with that value, given a population of 100 infected, you would assume that another 59 people will become infected from those original 100. Those 59 would then infect another ~35 people, those 35 would infect another 20 people, those 20 infect 12, the 12 infect 7, that 7 infect 4 which in turn infects 2 and then 1. The spread doesn't end abruptly when the R(0) value in under 1; rather, it just kind of peters out. That said, the original 100 just infected another 140 people after 8 iterations.

I’m amazed at the number of people getting in my space at work. I still try not to walk up on people, but it seems pointless given the hundreds that don’t reciprocate.

Thank you for the explanation. That was very helpful.

Trump wore a mask to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, after months of refusing to don the expert-recommended face coverings meant to help slow the spread of the coronavirus. "I love masks in the appropriate locations," Trump said. https://t.co/dsrJWHTiXh

You cant just make up words and expect people to take your shit serious. It seems the only people that believe this bullshit are the ones that are actively trying to prove themselves right.

You can't really say,

"Look at the deaths! They're all back logged and actually occurred a month ago."

and then offer no evidence or any type of source. Its the same shit hes been doing and people are still giving him attention for some reason.
