We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

Anything is possible but I seriously doubt the Chiefs would sign a guy like that. The me first, diva shit he pulled does not go over well in midwestern markets.
Bell, Brown, Peters, guys like that... they just don't fit the Chiefs player profile.
Start averaging 12 wins a year and even Midwest folk won’t give a shit about character, or at least the smart ones won’t. I wish the owner would learn that. [Reply]

RB is just so easy to replace relative to other positions. As fun as that could be I just think it's better spent on defense. If there are no real options on defense and we get him for 11-12, epscially short in length, then idk ok I guess. But I'm as staunch in not spending on RB's as anybody is. And if the contract was more than that, then forget it. [Reply]

Yes.
And we'll have new starters at 5 (perhaps 6) of the 11 defensive positions. That's not a patch job - that's half the defense... [Reply]

Agreed. I really wanted us to draft Bell but I also wanted us to draft Hyde.
I love what Hyde brings. He can do everything Hunt did when healthy and has an extra 20 lbs on him. If we hadn't already signed Hyde I could see the Bell rumor having some smoke to it... [Reply]
