I figured I would create one location to house all of the breaking news, rumors, pessimism, despair, helplessness, frustration, and of course optimism leading up to the 2019 NFL Trade Deadline on:

3 weeks from today! We all have ideas of what the Chiefs need so I won't go into that, but hopefully this day will come and go with better results than last year for us.

Why are the 2-6 Giants buyers at the deadline??

I just looked it up. Williams only has 8 games left on his contract and the Giants are 2-6. Basically gave up a 3rd and a 5th for what???

Likely to re-sign him.

Pairing him in the middle with DeMarcus Lawrence is a nice young front of DTs.

More details: The 2021 5th-round pick that the Giants are trading to the Jets for Leonard Williams becomes a 4th-round pick if he signs a contract extension before the start of the league year, per source.

Jets are paying $4 million of Williams’ $6 million salary this season.
