Additionally, when we play from behind other teams can commit to running the ball. If we play with a lead, that isn’t the case. They have to throw the ball down the field which is more likely to lead to sacks and turnovers.
Yeah he made a few mistakes early but to your second point, we've had big leads early and the defense still shit the bed and nearly cost us the games. Chargers, Steelers, 49ers, Jaguars. The defense wasn't half bad early on in the game. Matter of fact, the defense has been its best early in games. Just at some point the wheels fall off and they can't do shit. [Reply]
