Good to see you around again bud.

I also like Baker in round 1 at this point.

A bit surprised by the Copeland pick but he's productive; I'm just debating if a run-stuffing DE prospect is what you want out of a 2nd rounder.

Jesus Christ, I preached this last year and was right with Fulton's market vallue , and I guess I have to say it again about Morse this year. He is not resigning for 3 years, $15m. Zach Fulton signed a 4 year, $28,000,000 contract with the Houston Texans, including $13,000,000 guaranteed, just plug in those numbers because I think he's at least getting that.

May you guys undervalue the market on offensive linemen. And don't forget, now with Mahomes that line is grading out better because of his quick release, the Chiefs line is getting major hype this week, that only increases Morse's market rate.

And I do think we are going to resign him, but just like LDT, you all will bitch about the contract.

Its also not realistic to ignore the Oline in the draft. I'm not saying they will use a pick in the first three rounds on one, but you better expect they will be looking for some oline depth in the later rounds.

If you ignore safety we're going into 2019 with a huge holes in the middle again. Berry probably can't play a full season anymore and Sorensen is at best a #3 type safety.

At least LDT doesn't get his shit pushed in in the run game. Morse is replaceable.

The draft has an OT taken in the 3rd. How is that ignoring the OL?

One last comment. Get another God damn tight end. Do we really have to go ANOTHER year with stonehands Harris as the #2?

Missed that. Sorry.

Also, I'm not a huge fan of Morse, but if he and Mahomes are tight as a unit, why change it?

Just my personal opinion. I haven't been a fan of Morse. I'm not a fan of the OL scheme and the talent they find in general, with athletic light in the pants finesse players who routinely get dominated at the LOS in the run game.

I saw that too. He very well could, but I'm not sure. Denzel Ward went top 5 because he was excellent in coverage and he ran a 4.32 with a 39" vertical at 5'11". I don't know that Baker is going to run like that. They had Josh Jackson ahead of Ward in their rankings all of last year and in the top 8 consistently, but he ended up going at 45. That all said, PFF actually does have decent draft rankings. They were one of the only outlets, if not the only outlet, to have Baker Mayfield the #1 QB and #1 to the Browns for most of the process. All that said, the way KC is playing could have them very much out of range for Baker.

Blace Brown from Troy is a very similar player that plays a ton of off-man and may actually be faster than Baker. I really like him alot too.

While I find it doubtful any of these guys declare, it'll be interesting to see if Byron Murphy (Washington, rSo), Lavert Hill (Michigan, rSo), or Julian Blackmon (Utah, Jr) end up in the conversation.

What are the odds that Kahlil McKenzie could play C? He seems very much like a Zach Fulton type of OL guy who will probably struggle doing anything but pass protection as a G, but could make a VERY good C.

Based on what? I find it hard to imagine any judgement can be made at all on McKenzie with how raw he is.
