Chiefs open as 3 point favorites.

Game is in Mexico City, which is lovely!

Gotta win this one.

Discuss.

Chargers coach Anthony Lynn brought his team to Colorado this week, to prepare for the elevation Monday night in Mexico City.

And his players may not be thrilled about the week away from home.

Via Jeff Miller of the Los Angeles Times, running back Austin Ekeler said a number of players would have preferred to stay in California, rather than spending the week working out at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.

Wide receiver Keenan Allen didn’t offer specifics of what he was talking about, but tweeted: “I hate everything about this.” (And a wife of a teammate concurred.)

Defensive end Joey Bosa was tepid in his endorsement.

“You notice a difference out there a little bit with breathing,” Bosa said. “I don’t know if a few practices is enough to get acclimated to it. But, we’re here. We’ll make the most of it.”

When he was asked a follow-up question, Bosa said: “I don’t really want to talk about this. I don’t want to say anything stupid.”

The Chargers stayed in Ohio last year after playing the Browns, before flying to London the following week. Considering they won 10 of 11 games including that stretch, the reaction was much different. Now 4-6, there doesn’t appear to be as much enthusiasm about the trip.
Next you will tell me Clark is going up against a rookie tackle playing in his first game. None of this matters. What matters is the chargers have probably all ready rushed for 80 yards on the chiefs _efense and the game has even started.

They most definitely are. Refs have an agenda to keep certain games from getting out of hand. There's absolutely no doubt about it.

And it's cost the Chiefs 2 or 3 games this year, a few last year, and damn near cost them in Pittsburgh, in a game that should've been a laugher.

We were fisting Houston till they got involved...yet against Minny and Green Bay we largely hung around because they let things go. It's a fucking joke and just so obvious.

Except the refs handed the Chargers their last primetime matchup...the NFL actually used that specific play as an example of the new PI rule...the rule that they never intended to enforce.

Using that play is SO on par for the Chiefs franchise and how they are treated by the league...only Detroit is habitually treated worse.

Chiefs are 2-7 in primetime/national games under Mahomes. NFL was kind enough to let them beat the Bengals..

Dont be surprised when the Raiders and KC are tied in the division when they meet each other...remember when the NFL gave them 3 free plays after time expired? I do....classic Chiefs snuff-job.

I tried to tell everyone to watch out for the Raiders this year...new stadium, new city.

A) It kinda seems like you do want it to happen, since you're so convinced they'll suck that you're offering to bet people.
B) As mentioned already, Mahomes has thrown one pick all year. Why on Earth would he throw "several" in this game?

Some people would rather their team lose so they can whip out “I told you so” cuz they think it makes me look smart. Spoiler alert... rooting against your team makes you look dumb. Looks like Chiefshrink has shrunk.

Anything is possible. However, the Chargers run a zone blocking scheme in their running game, according to ESPN, which is the same scheme that both DEN and MIN run (again according to ESPN) and our defense handled both very well. Also none of the Chargers RBs are 250-lbers. Their running game is not only one the Chiefs defense is familiar with, its also one they’ve had solid success against recently this season.

Rivers looked like ass vs. the faiders last week. Gordon ran for over 100 yds. I expect the dolts to try and run it down the Chiefs' throats. My money is on the Chiefs. I was hoping to leverage a biz trip into a chance to attend the game. Isn't happening. :-) Expecting plenty of Chiefs' red. Not so sure about dolt fan.

What on Earth are you talking about?

The Bengals have the worst record in PT games maybe in NFL history. In fact, the Bengals are historically bad playing any games that aren't in the morning.

Second, the NFL didn't hand the Chiefs a victory last year against the Bengals; we torched them 45-10. It was never in doubt from about 5 minutes into the 2nd quarter. We were up 24-7 by the end of the first half. The Bengals kicked a FG for their only other points of the game in the third, while the Chiefs went on to score another 21 points.

You need to put the pipe down.

No. Hardman was open because he flat out-ran your CB, period. Mecole was open from his second step, and by the time the ball was in the air your CB was 3 yards behind Hardman and the gap was widening. The penalty was a holding call on Shady, which had nothing to do with whether Mecole was open.

The fact is that the Raiders' defense held the Chiefs offense down for exactly one quarter.

And that offense was without Tyreek.

Not only that, but there were wide open receivers everywhere in the first quarter.

Watkins was open twice for huge gains and Mahomes missed him. And on that first third down Mecole ran the route wrong, but he was open.

Should've saved that one for when the dumb Raiders fan responded to me.

It's like every time he tries to come up with something, we get to kick dirt in his face.

PMII needs 2400 yds to top 5k again, I look forward to him getting at LEAST 500 of them when we play the faders again.
