I commented on it in another thread when it first came out. This clipping needs a bit of context.

The picture captioned is from the vast hi-def panorama shot of the entire proceedings at inauguration. Out of . . what a Million, a Million and A HALF [:-)] people, the camera happens to catch Dubya staring right into the camera, which appears to be placed about 150 yards away and 50 feet above the proceedings.

More of a coincidence thing, than anything. Probably not another person in the entire crowd looking directly that direction at that moment.

I though it was spooky how he appeared to be looking directly at the camera from that far away. That's more or less the reason why I cropped him. Has nothing to do with the plastic bag poncho.
