Media Center>Must Watch Series
Buehler445 08:54 AM 04-26-2012
All this talk about series, how network TV Sucks, and how hard it is to find quality shows, and some excellent shows that fly under the radar, I need a comprehensive review of all the series I need to see.

For good entertainment, I would be willing to buy DVD sets. But I've recently picked up HBOGO by kiping it from my parents, and recently got Netflix and Amazon Prime.

Here is a listing of shows that I currently own or have seen all the episodes of. If it isn't on the list, just assume I haven't seen it.

Spoiler!

Here is a listing of shows on my list to watch (mostly due to this thread)

I work a fuckton, so it is hard for me catch a series while it is on to get it on the DVR, but I recognize the entertainment value and am willing to go after the Must See shows. Accordingly, I'm not necessarily looking for anything that is still running. I'm up for watching stuff that has run its course.

So what say you, Planet? Which shows should I see?

UPDATED for the shows I've seen recently.

Wife and I stumbled across Dark about 2 weeks ago. We’re in the middle of season 2. We watch 2 episodes a night, but if it were just me I would’ve blown through the whole thing in 2-3 days. I love it, find it hard to “put down.”

Read the book by Caleb Carr 20 or so years ago and the series is true to the book. REally good!

Not the cream of the crop, but quite good in its own right. Plus, not a lot new out there right now. Back in a couple weeks.

I’m digging the revamped episodes of unsolved mysteries. That show used to scare the shit out of me as a kid. The episode that took place in LaCyne, KS really pissed me off.

Agreed, they've been nice filler for me during weeknights. I read where they've dropped all their evidence onto reddit for the internet sleuths to dive into.

Dude I already went down the reddit rabbit hole on unsolved mysteries. It’s interesting to see people point out things that I missed.

Rip's my favorite TV character of the last 5 years or so. It's almost easy to forget that he occasionally murders someone and throws their body into a gorge.

Was all in on Yellowstone. Season 2 was great. Season 3 is dragging now and too much SJW stuff for my liking.

Why do they ruin every show w/this stuff now?

Just binged the whole thing in one sitting after work. Really good season. I enjoyed season one a lot, thought season 2 took everything up a notch.
