That was with 2 outs (Santana's catch would have made it three), so a run wouldn't have scored.
If Matheny threw Wade out there we probably end up losing. Hard to see Wade not be able to produce soft contact anymore.

That assumes Danny's pitch sequencing and him pitching out of the wind-up (not needing to worry about runners on base) would have been the same/yielded the same exact results. Maybe - but it's tough to know.

Damn if that wasn't one of the colder games I've been too. Top row of the lower level just about at the left field foul pole. Wind was brutal. Royals offense was colder than the weather. Oof.
