Saccopoo Memorial Draft Forum>WR - Simi Fehoko

This could be a solid fit for us.
- Stellar hands
- Excellent at contested catches & 50/50 balls
- Solid route runner
- Nice mix of quick acceleration and long speed

They seem to line him up outside quite a bit, but I could see him inside, similar to how the Pats would use Edelman. Could be solid underneath on drags and crossers.

Uh, just looked up his measurables, and Wikipedia says 6’4” 220lbs. He did not look that big in those videos. That’s a solid size/speed combo.

I bet official is more near 6'2", at least judging him near O-lineman. The 220 is probably pretty close though.

I do like him though. Not overly explosive but none of these big receivers tend to be. Just a solid possession type with enough speed to get you a deep play once in a while.

I kept hoping to see him solo in space, to judge his YAC speed. 95% of the highlights were him catching a 50/50 ball and the play ending right after.

The screen play opened my eyes because he showed some serious speed. I also liked the toughness on that play at the goal line as well.

He seems to accelerate to speed much more quickly than some board favorites like Seth Williams. That's a much more attractive trait to me in this offense than overall speed.

Exactly what we need in our receiving corp. We've got Hill and Hardman to take the top off, and Kelce to roam the middle/intermediate. We need a possession guy, especially near the goal line.

Reminds me of Chase Claypool. I’m intrigued.

61 receptions, 18.7 yards/catch, and 9 TDs in 2019/20. Decent playmaker numbers.

I saw in Fehoko's Stanford bio that he went on a 2 year LDS mission to S. Korea before attending Stanford. The only DOB I have found is 1998, no day or month. Definitely a more mature receiver.

I like Simi a lot.

Draft sites don't have him rated very high, but I think he would be a good fit for the Chiefs, but not sure what round he will go. Maybe Chiefs could get him in the 5th round.

He's been pretty productive for the few opportunities he gets.
2019 - 9 games, 24 receptions, 566 yards, and 6 TDs. (23.6 average)
2020 - 6 games, 37 receptions, 574 yards, and 3 TDs.

One of the things I've noticed in watching Stanford games, there are a lot of plays he's not on the field. You would think at 6-4, 227 pounds he might have the size to be a decent blocker, but he seems to be more on the field for obvious passing downs.

I was listening to Moving the Chains on the radio on the way home today, and Jim Miller and Pat Kirwan made this exact same comparison and said someone going to get a great player on day 3 of the draft.

I was on the Chase Claypool bandwagon. If this guy is similar, I'm on board with this as well.

He doesn't excite me that much. He could be good. But I saw star when I saw Claypool
