Nzoner's Game Room>*****The Kingsley Suamataia Thread*****
Dante84 07:20 PM 04-26-2024
More to come!

Man!!!! I love Andy Reid. The @Chiefs and Andy Reid are offensive line savants. Kingsley Suamataia has big time potential. I think he he can be awesome guard or tackle. Just needs a little technique work. He is an aggressive killer who is great athlete.

Kingsley Suamataia is a versatile offensive tackle who split his 1,300 career snaps at BYU almost exactly down the middle between left and right tackle.

My favorite line from Dane Brugler's draft guide: "He delivers more pancakes than Denny's"

Kingsley Suamataia since 2022:

701 pass-blocking snaps
24 QB pressures allowed
2 sacks allowed

.@Chiefs @BYUfootball #KingsleySuamataia lots to like; lots to work with. #GoCougs have been turning out OLineman over past 4 years. #BaldysBreakdowns pic.twitter.com/4yDc6HYI6i

Kingsley Sumataia | OT | BYU

Traitsy OT w/ great size+athleticism+strengt. Easy range in the run game to pull or climb to landmarks or hit set points in slide. Patient hand usage to stay square and trust his lateral agility. Pad level & overall technique should develop in NFL. pic.twitter.com/p9zOJEuMkr

The @Chiefs just selected Kingsley Suamataia, who is 6'5" and 326 lbs and can do this ⬇️

Fine. I’ll allow one legend from the host city team. I don’t need every halfway decent Lion from the past decade out there though.

This is actually really crazy. Wow. They are literally almost identical human beings.

Everything just seems too easy. We’re going for a 3-peat and our two weakest positions happen to be the deepest in years and we land two potential day one starters at those spots. I almost feel like I’m playing Madden, it should not be this simple!
Morgan has short arms might end up a guard

Was this right after Pat ran for the TD against Tennessee just before halftime? Or was this the Texans game?

This is the kind of pick that could work big for bc of Andy Heck and Andy Reid.

This could end up being the best pick of the Veach era if he hits

I could be wrong, but I feel like it was when Sorensen tackled Justin Reid for a loss on the fake punt during the Texans playoff game. You know, the one where we were down by 24 and then proceeded to beat the ever-loving shit out of them. BAHAHAHA!!!

Does this guy have a nickname, or do his friends call him King? Like, I feel weird typing and saying Kingsley, and I can say or spell his last name.
Could call him Sley

Agreed. I can’t believe they let him do that.

One plus is not enough here — this is a potentially franchise-altering pick for the Chiefs here at the bottom of the second round. Suamataia is a bit raw, but he has legitimate franchise left tackle athleticism and movement ability. Throw him out there and let him grow into an elite tackle.
