He likely would have been our pick that year. We ended up getting him AND Clark. I'd call that a win.
If you watch that youtube show the Chiefs did last year there's a segment that makes it readily apparent the Chiefs did major CB homework. I don't think anyone should be worried just from that. [Reply]
The Kansas City Chiefs have officially signed cornerback DeAndre Baker to their practice squad, according to the NFL’s official transaction report. The team released wide receiver Chad Williams to make room for Baker.
Bart Ventch has been really good at finding quality cornerbacks without spending a lot of money or draft capital. Hope this move continues that trend and Baker can live up to that first round potential now that he's out of that shitty organization known as the New York Giants. [Reply]

Soren Petro doubts he ever see's the field for the chiefs. He went on to say they will probably have him set and talk with Honey Badger to get a feel if he is in or out. He said Badger has so much respect in the clubhouse and with the staff that if he says its not a fit he will be gone.
Of course its petro so take it with a grain of salt. [Reply]

Not buying into that, If anything, HB will help him succeed in this D and show him the way. It will be fine - thanks again Veach for signing another hopefully, home run! [Reply]
