Pat plays the way Pat plays. He could have pitched, he chose not to. What you're basically candyassing about is Reid give his qb, who is arguably the best player in the game, the ball and his choice on what to do with it.

I think there's some middle ground here. Yes, Pat plays behind an O-line that's not going to get mentioned in any conversations about great O-lines, and that's sad, so Pat's not going to be able to be a pocket QB if he wanted to be. But he doesn't want to be, that's not his things, it's not in his DNA, it's simply not going to happen. So Andy and EB have designed plays and a system that works toward what's in his DNA, and that means he's going to be mobile, he's going to run, he's going to do things that put him in more danger than a traditional pocket QB.
