It's the end of the world as we know it... and we feel... fine?

Typical FA deal.

Royals got his prime years & the Brewers are paying for it.

Brewers are going to have a super stacked top of the lineup.

They still need pitching though. If Dayton was looking to trade Duffy, Milwaukee would probably be one of the best fits.

I would easily make the Brewers my NL team.

Yes.

I would go:
Cain
Yelich
Braun
Shaw
Santana
Bandy
Arcia
Villar

That's pretty nasty. Also have Eric Thames floating around.

I take it you have Braun at 1st? Because either way, you could put Thames at 1B and still be loaded. And that still leaves guys like Aguilar and Perez on the bench, guys who are capable of popping 15-20 HR. They are a scary offensive team.

Best case scenario. We get the comp pick and LoCain goes to a team in the NL that we can kinda all pull for from afar.

Going to miss seeing him dominate center field.

Good for Cain. We get the pick and not the bad contract.

Why not? I'm just saying, it's not like he went to the Dodgers or some outfit like that.
