I've been burned a few times by those cheap stocks I don't pay attention to them anymore.

A friend of mine was big into them he would call hi broker a few times a week asking him questions about stocks. Come to find out the broker had enough of him calling and advised him to go to a different broker.Why you ask?

Because he was just interested in penny stocks and spending like 50 dollars on them the cheap skate. The broker doesn't have time for this when they have clients that have tens of thousands in the market.

I can’t help but think we are going down some more. It doesn’t feel like the bottom has come yet. Tech isn’t down quite as much as this point as some other struggling sectors like gas and oil.

It’s a good time to buy regardless, but I think we got a little ways left to go.

90% of my allocations are automatic monthly contributions and I haven't changed those at all, so I really don't time the market. But I do feel it has fallen enough now that it is worth putting this one pot of cash back in.

The whole concept of "timing the market" has become a meme.

You either believe that your X amount of investment in A, B, and or C will be worth $Y amount by day T in the future.

What difference does it make if X is worth $100, $55 or $555? today? If you don't believe that it will eventually be worth more than what you paid to acquire it then you shouldn't buy it..
