Im not going to say Mondesi isn't an everyday player based on 30 games in a 60 game season when he's been a pretty good player in the 2 previous seasons. Sure he's not who he was supposed to be, but Im not gonna say he's bad, because he's not. [Reply]

Mondesi had a 60 game stretch where he hit well, he's not been good at any other point. [Reply]
Mondesi just turned 25. No way on earth you give up on him anytime soon. The Royals especially have a long list of prospects who never figured it out until 26/27 years old. [Reply]

I'm not saying give up on him but he's not going to be the player they told us he was...they made us think he'd be what Tatis Jr is...he won't ever be that. [Reply]

Well of course not, he plays for the Royals. We likely will never have a Tatis Jr, Acuna, Soto, Lindor, etc. type of player. [Reply]

I'm sure Padres fans would say that same shit... [Reply]
Here's video of Mets GM Brodie Van Wagenen discussing a plan in which he says MLB wanted the Mets to take the field, leave it and return an hour later. Van Wagenen is critical of the idea and commissioner Rob Manfred, saying: "He just doesn’t get it." (Video via @NickCocco18) pic.twitter.com/46Z9neVkJt
Yea Manfred you're done. Trying to get them to do that when they don't want to play at all...good idea. What a fucking clown him and the Wilpons. [Reply]

Lmao, I bet has shitting bricks right now. Well maybe, he has made millions and millions and if he were to lose his job he'd be in good shape and would actually enjoy life more with a lot less stress. [Reply]
Kinda annoying how they shipped off a guy that never even got a real chance. He got to play in a measly 84 games for us and only had 208 AB. Nicky Lopez should not be on the ML roster right now and Whit should have been playing 2nd while Brett Phillips played CF. Brett Phillips had a .681 OPS. While thats not great its still higher than Ryan O Turd, Alex Gordon, Nicky Lopez, Mondesi, and Bubba Starlings OPS. He should have gotten more of a chance. Instead hes traded for Lucious Fox, a motherfucker that has a minor league OPS of .325! He fucking had a .440 OPS in AAA last year. Like what? Are you kidding me? We traded a guy that at least was a 4th OF for a literal hunk of shit. We got raped in this deal. Grand job dumbass Dayton. [Reply]
