Nzoner's Game Room>Anyone here doing the E-Cig / Vape thing?
pr_capone 03:05 AM 11-17-2013
Thanks to my vape, I've had only one single cigarette in the past 3 weeks. I have zero cravings for them and I feel considerably better. In fact, I still have about 5 smokes left in a pack and just can't see myself smoking those... don't want to.

Even better... 5ml of juice, which costs $5, lasts me about 2 weeks meaning that I am spending less in the long run. I only smoked, at most, a pack a week... but still.

I tried the Blu E-Cigs but they were terrible. Trying to "smoke" out of one of those was like trying to take a hit off a joint that was rolled WAY to tight.

I'm using an eGo-V v2 mega battery with variable voltage control with a gravity tank.

It's the only thing I've tried that emulated real cigarettes...It's the best juice ..other than Five Pawns, that's out there.

Blacknote is top notch. But due to the cost Ive move on from using them as often. I still vape mostly naturally extracted tobacco juices.

Another good one is http://www.naturally-extracted-tobacco.com/

They have some very good natural tobacco juices. However their juices are known to gunk coils much faster than other liquids. Blacknotes liquids are easier on coils than NET.com. I would not recommend NET.com to someone who uses standard replaceable coils, but if you use RBAs they are worth it.

I quit vaping on June 24. It's been about 4 weeks. I'm still having cravings occasionally. I hope they go away fully eventually. Nicotine is addictive as hell.

It definitely gets better. Ride it out.

Nice job! I'm flirting with phasing it out. If I never vaped, I would have probably never quit smoking. Now, I can't really say I miss smoking any longer. Cutting out vaping might not be as simple?

I find myself in the same place. I actually vape alot, but recently got the kabosh at work (don't get me started...) and so I basically vape at home and in the car. So, I've naturally cut back some.

But, I do enjoy it. I dunno. Quitting is in the back of my mind. Meanwhile, I'm thinking of stepping back to 3MG, which is really low. Then go from there. Pretty sure if I was vaping at 0, I'd probably be able to quit, but I do enjoy it. A helluvalot more than I enjoyed smoking.

That's what I've started to do.

I definitely vape too much, and I don't think it's nearly as much a nic fit.

Hate the work nazis about vaping. Luckily, I have privacy most of the time, so it's not a constant problem.

You know they sell vaporizers that look exactly like an inhaler just for that occasion.

I know a guy who got complained about for it by a lady he works with who makes it her business to nose into everyone else's business. He told the HR lady who contacted him to address the complaint he's diabetic and it's inhalable insulin.
Shut that down and now he's got a plausible excuse to do it every once in a while with discretion.

Thanks to vaping I was finally able to ween myself off nicotine. Have been vape free for a week now and I don't see myself going back. I was a pretty heavy chain vaper and I found that sipping on water throughout the day helped a lot with the oral fixation or whatever, you have to piss a lot but it's no big deal.

I was actually kind of shocked at how easy it was for to me to just stop vaping. The nicotine cravings were pretty much nonexistent in comparison to the cravings I got when I tried to quit cigs cold turkey.

I quit vaping a month to 6 weeks ago and I still miss it sometimes, but I'm better off without it. Helped me quit cigs and I'm forever grateful.

Got a new vape. For some reason the higher wattage started really bothering my throat and got me coughing. I dropped down to the 30-40 watt range and that helped. But, I saw an ad for the Vaporesso Aurora for about $25. It perfectly mimics cigs and it is built into, basically, a Zippo lighter. I'm at work and don't have time to look up a good link. Google it.

I gave up. Can't find a rig that will consistently work. Paid over $100 for my most recent one and it's a POS like all the rest.

What are you using? I have had outstanding quality with Sigelei and Innokin devices.

Latest one is a iStick eLeaf with a Nautilus tank. Girl in my riding group has one, said she never has any trouble with it. I figured if a girl can keep it going I should be good. Not.
