Nzoner's Game Room>Anyone here doing the E-Cig / Vape thing?
pr_capone 03:05 AM 11-17-2013
Thanks to my vape, I've had only one single cigarette in the past 3 weeks. I have zero cravings for them and I feel considerably better. In fact, I still have about 5 smokes left in a pack and just can't see myself smoking those... don't want to.

Even better... 5ml of juice, which costs $5, lasts me about 2 weeks meaning that I am spending less in the long run. I only smoked, at most, a pack a week... but still.

I tried the Blu E-Cigs but they were terrible. Trying to "smoke" out of one of those was like trying to take a hit off a joint that was rolled WAY to tight.

I'm using an eGo-V v2 mega battery with variable voltage control with a gravity tank.

This is interesting but not enough of an upgrade from my Fuchai. I don't like on-board battery charging but Sigelei has been pretty trustworthy gear-wise:

I also don't like charging my batteries at 2As. I always charge mine at .5 to lengthen the life. Why 213W? These mods are getting kinda gimmicky, it seems

They'll also need to bump their TC to 600F before I buy another.

Yeah, that was especially weird. They come out with this thing and it's pretty much a cosmetic change. I didn't post the pic - you'll see what I mean:

They should have called it the "Give Us More Money 213."

Finally go the eGo yesterday and I did see an immediate improvement over my old rig, but when I put the 1.0 ohm coil in it I hear all kinds of popping and sizzling inside it. Is that normal?

Well that's odd because it seems to be fine with the .5 coil in it. I'll have to dump some juice and give it another shot.

I haven't tried the eGo One but there is a noticeable difference between a 1.0 and 0.5. coil.

If it sounds like a combination of radio static and escaping air, your wick is too wet. So fire it w/o using it several times until the excess fluid is vaporized. Did it happen right after refilling it?

I filled it, used the .5 for a bit, which seemed to work just fine, then switched to the 1.0 and all hell broke loose.

Did you adjust your wattage at all after switching the from the .5 to the 1 ohm coil?

I don't think wattage is adjustable on this rig.
