It just looks like a stretched out Snowspeeder with X-Wing engines stuck on the back to me. And what are the tines sticking out the front supposed to be do? I feel like something that's missing from the newer designs like this and Kylo Ren's shuttle is implied functionality. The OT ship designs were idiosyncratic, but still managed to stay grounded. I think these are called U Wings and in the trailer, a ship that looked like Kylo Ren's was destroyed.
Personally, I'm all good with new ships as designs, as there should be a ton of different ships in a galaxy filled with thousands of space traveling sentient life forms. [Reply]
