I'm somewhere between depression and acceptance.
The Chiefs just aren't a very good football TEAM right now. Too many players not trusting their fellow teammates. The defense needs to take chances, if it means giving up a big play instead of a ten minute drive, then that's okay. It gets the offense back on the field. It has to be really frustrating watching the other team march up and down the field using up all of the time.
Eliminate bad football and the Chiefs will be fine.
Brian Westbrook said some interesting things today. He said back in Philly Reid would never run the ball even though they were averaging 5-6 yards a carry. Westbrook said Reid told him a couple times why run the ball whereas we can pass it and get 22 yards. That’s a loss of 17 yards right there. [Reply]

If Reid actually said that being the "offensive guru" that he is, that is borderline moronic. He knows nothing about the affect that neutralizing a pass rush and play-action can have on an opposing defense? [Reply]

Yep he actually said that to Westbrook. He was on first things first this morning with Chris and Nick. [Reply]
