Oct. 2nd 1974. The New York Dolls and Lynyrd Skynyrd in Springfield, Missouri in what Was a bowling alley but I think it’s a Church now on Glenstone. Not too far from chestnut expressway. They both blew my mind. Opened up possibilities. [Reply]

I saw Bonham open for ELP in Indianapolis in 1992. They were the loudest band I’ve ever heard. The fillings in my teeth hurt and my ears were still ringing two days later. [Reply]
Dale Bozzio the singer of Missing Persons has seen better times. During those years she was married to the drummer Terry Bozzio but they divorced in the late 80's. Terry has played or produced everybody from Frank Zappa to Korn, he has a ton of credits.
Replaced Bill Bruford in UK.
A better opener for Rush was Mr. Big in Atlanta in 1990. Billy Sheehan on bass. [Reply]

That singer for Bonham, Daniel MacMaster died in 2006 from an strep infection. He was married with 2 kids.

You probably don't remember anything other than Ina Gadda Da Vida being played, I was wondering if they played "Ride Captain Ride" by Blues Image? Mike Pinera the vocalist guitarist of the Tampa band Blues Image joined Iron Butterfly in 1970 and was on the Metamorphosis album. Honestly, I hated Ride Captain Ride because it was one of those songs like Jack & Diane, radio played it to death. I always thought that was funny, he was in Iron Butterfly. He was also in Cactus and formed a band with Hendrix drummer Mitch Mitchell called Ramatam.
On most old videos Iron Butterfly is either lip-syncing or playing the 3 minute version, I found this full length live '71 recording a few months ago.
