Sources: The #Seahawks and #Chiefs are deep in talks on a trade to send star Frank Clark to KC. The compensation would include a 1st rounder, a 2020 2nd rounder and a swap of mid-rounders. To complete it, the franchise tagged player and Chiefs must hammer out a deal.
#Chiefs need pass rushers in their switch to a 4-3 that can play the run too! Frank Clark will do that for them better than anyone in this draft can. He is one of the best young DE’s in the #nfl.
Seems high. However, there is no argument Clark is a big upgrade over Ford and Houston. It seems doubtful the Chiefs would be able to draft the same production with what they are giving up.
The price just seems high.
well obviously Veach has made the decision that he is a better choice than whoever we would get in the 1st round anyway. We just cut Ford’s and Houston’s money off the cap. We can afford a good Edge player. [Reply]
I wonder what chris Jones must be thinking right now? I bet he doesn’t re sign now. He sees Vlark get a mega deal but Veach won’t re sign one of his own [Reply]

It's not just about sacks. He plays the run well and stays on the field healthy. [Reply]

Frank Clark and Chiefs still are working out final details on what will be a massive contract extension and once it is agreed to, Clark will fly to Kansas City to take physical and finalize trade, per sources.
