We won the Super Bowl. God punished us with a pandemic.
We won the Super Bowl. God punished us with division that we’ve never seen before in this country.
We won the Super Bowl. WE. WON. THE. SUPER. BOWL.
We may have our differences on this board. We may come from different walks of life. We may have different opinions. We may value different things.
But guys, we are ALL Chiefs fans. And we’ve lived through ‘Because Chiefs…’ long enough for pandemics and civil unrest to seem like child’s play.
Our hands are calloused and our hearts are overflowing generously. But we’re together. And we’re all brothers in this crazy world that is ChiefsPlanet. And I will repeat what I said after the Super Bowl: I love all of you.
Let’s forget all the rest of the noise and enjoy this special championship defense. TOGETHER.
The dynasty begins here. Strap in and enjoy yourselves, gentlemen. The ride is going to be magnificent.

It was a joyous feeling, but there was also a collective calm, because there was a sense that Mahomes, surrounded by the Chiefs’ talent and schemes, was inevitable. This is a player whose passer rating on third down is nearly 28 points higher than the league average. His adjusted yards per attempt is a full yard higher than that of any other quarterback in history. The reason I think about those hallway scenes in that stadium is not just because of how amazing the game was, or how amazing Mahomes was. It is because of how normal everything felt. Nothing will feel normal Thursday. It might not for many more months. But one part of that night is back. It’s Mahomes. He’s inevitable.

Sorry you're triggered, snowflake.
I too hate it when players stay in "thenlocket riom". [Reply]
During the playoffs last season I ate biscuits & gravy at the Denver Biscuit Company every morning on game day. Don't think I'm going to be able to make it there today. I mean, there's still time...I could get there and eat biscuits and gravy, but I'm in a pretty big day trade and really need to sit in front of my monitor until the closing bell at 2pm Denver time.
Have I totally screwed up our season, or is the Mahomes factor enough to overcome my inability to eat Denver Biscuit Company biscuits & gravy today? Will welcome all ideas, except those telling me to go have sex with myself. [Reply]

Where I live they can bring food to you through a few different delivery methods. [Reply]

Seems like a great idea.
They've got Phillip Gaines? Is talking about his mom off limits? heh heh... Also, wish they would have kept the yellow end zones. Those were bitchin...
My advice to our receiving corps: Cough like crazy when you start your route, you'll get an extra step on the defender for sure! [Reply]

While I appreciate your input, you're obviously not a biscuits & gravy connoisseur. You have to get those babies right out of the oven. While there's nothing better than piping hot biscuits with piping hot sausage gravy (and tons of black pepper) - there's nothing worse than lukewarm biscuits and gravy. [Reply]

That's a playoff ritual. I think you're good to skip. Don't waste that magic power on regular season games. [Reply]

How about if they separate the two into separate containment's, then heat up upon delivery? You gotta eat the B&G dude. You've made me want some. [Reply]

I listened to my super special Chiefs hype playlist when I went for a run this morning. We're golden even if Mahomes doesn't show up and Henne is running the show. [Reply]
