We won comfortably and Pat is, well, Pat. Seeing the NE game deflated me tho. We have to travel there and if we lose they’ll hold the tiebreaker - and their schedule is almost criminal. Hard to see us winning there in January. Thomas and Brown didn’t even play and it shows they don’t even need decent WR.
Am I being defeatist, anyone else feel that way? [Reply]

True, but then that's their peak performance time. Off season—a whole noth'ah season. [Reply]

If the Pats beat the shit out of Buffalo in Buffalo, I'll finally be impressed by them this season.
So far they are playing the doormats of the NFL. 0-9 for their first three opponents. :-) [Reply]

Frankly, it seems to me that the AFC has a pretty weak "middle class". The gap between NE/KC and the rest seems to be ridiculously wide.
Well, yeah, 3 of those losses are to KC.
So other than the Chiefs, they're 4-2, no? [Reply]
With the win over Baltimore Chiefs zoomed to #1 in Sagarin, -.08 pts favored vs New England now. It was +3.1 after two games.
Side note: the HFA is an incredibly low 1.68 points. I’ve nwvwr seen it anywhere near that low. Obv we have a ways to go but this year, home field isn’t worth much [Reply]
