I think it's probably overreaction because his latest film lost $95 million dollars and he's stressed out over that and the whole Batman fiasco but as of this week, it's a possibility he bails.
I had no idea how badly Live by Night did.
I saw a commercial for The Accountant and thought 'man, what an absolute shitfest that appears to be'; Live by Night at least looked interesting in a period drama sort of way.
I figured if anything tanked that badly it would've been The Accountant but man oh man did Night bomb hard. Yanked from 96% of its theaters by week 3? Jesus.
P.S. The best choice for Batman is Alexandra Daddario. She should also play the Joker and Commissioner Gordon. [Reply]

I actually thought The Accountant was pretty good. It had humor and action. Usually when you put those two together successfully you get a decent movie. [Reply]

I thought it was pretty well done, outside of the depiction of autism. It was an interesting angle, but the whole overcoming autism through militaristic abuse was dumb to the point of being insulting. [Reply]
Rumors of Affleck wanting out of the Batman role now....

Non story rumor that Campea said talk with a huuuuuge grain of salt and said he didn't want anyone to run with it and dumb websites ram with it for clicks. Nothing to see here imo.
If this was from a legit report like Hollywood reporter or Variety I'd be concerned. It's just John Campea....
Also Affleck is playing the Frank Miller version and I don't think Bale would fit that mold. I've enjoyed both of them as Batman. [Reply]
They never should have made Superman v Batman the concept is just dumb and stupid. Hero vs Hero what was the point. They should have gone in a different way like Doomsday vs Justice League or Death of Superman and Batman would have been the one putting Justice League together because Superman could only do so much.

Supeman vs Batman was stupid
The dark knight returns method was fine by me....Adding Doomsday was a huge mistake. Snyder should've saved that and had a different bad guy. Also the ultimate cut of the movie was way better than theatrical but still not as great as it should've been . [Reply]

They tried too hard to force a story and then had randomness that was unnecessary to make the movie longer like the part Supes was in the mountains trying find clarity and oh there is his dead earthly dad showing up in the mountains to have a talk with him. I would have thought maybe his space dad would have been a better cameo but lets be sure to put Keven Costner in a scene for no particular reason. [Reply]
