Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

Watkins is going to eat into his production if we are going to be honest, especially if Sammy is runny a lot of routes going into the middle of the field. Kelce's efficiency with Smith was really good so any replication of that is welcomed. I'd rather see Kelce take less targets and reduce risk of more concussions so he can be ready for the playoffs. He seems to make one fucking insane pass for about every 20 attempts.
54 attempts last preseason:
1. That ridiculous bent ball vs the Bengals.
2. The goddamn sidearm bomb to Robinson.
35 attempts vs Denver:
3. The rollout throw to Robinson.
4. The in-the-grasp third down to Wilson.
19 attempts this Preseason:
1. The Patomic Bomb.
So that's 5 fucking insane passes in 100 attempts, basically.
And I'm not evening counting stuff like that no-look pass on the play action to Wilson vs Denver, or that throw he made back across his body on the weakside boot against Seattle.
Yeah, it's going to be a fun season career. [Reply]

This makes sense to me but Watkins and Mahomes are going to have to show better chemistry soon or I’m afraid Mahomes won’t look his way too often. [Reply]

Those are the throws that discourage me as a fan when an opposing qb does it to me. I always think "well we can't cover better than that". Would be nice to be on the other end of it. [Reply]

Thing with me is that I know he can throw it long. The throw to Tyreek was awesome but I know he can do that. He needs to be slaying in the intermediate routes. That’s where we’re gonna make hay. And the short timing precise routes. Keep the chains moving for the deep shots to come [Reply]

It is nice to see him take that option as opposed to Conley open on the curl and gets tackled 4 yards short of the first down while doing a great job of setting up the punter. [Reply]
