Snyder's Man of Steel, which rebooted the Superman franchise, has grossed north of $600 million worldwide since it hit theaters this June.

According to two sources with knowledge of the movie, Warner Bros. intends to announce the news at its Comic-Con International panel Saturday morning. Said a Warner Bros. spokesperson, “We don’t comment on rumors regarding these properties.”
“Man of Steel” director Zack Snyder is expected to reunite with screenwriter David S. Goyer and star Henry Cavill for the new film. It’s unlikely Christian Bale will step back into the bat suit, as the actor has indicated publicly that he has moved on from his days as Bruce Wayne.
“Man of Steel” producer and “Dark Knight” trilogy director Christopher Nolan is expected by some to produce the project, but the exact nature of his involvement is unclear.
The move marks the culmination of years of effort on the part of Warner Bros. and DC Comics to bring their superheroes together in a similar fashion to their primary competitor Marvel, which successfully combined its superheroes into a $1.5-billion box-office hit with “The Avengers.”
In the comic world, the two heroes are teaming up in a new series, “Batman/Superman,” by writer Greg Pak and artist Jae Lee.
This guy working for one of those nerd sites have it 8.5/10 most I've seen give it that score or close fwiw
One neutral guy from ign compared it to watchmen if you compare to avengers. so dark, brooding...
@smichaelmadden: I'm not further commenting on BvS. Shared my feelings last night. It isn't what these reviews are making it out to be. [Reply]
@BatmanNewsCom: After you see #BatmanvSuperman it'll be easy to see why there's an R-rated cut. It's very dark & violent, but they cut away to keep it PG-13 [Reply]

If you are one of the people who feel like Marvel movies are only elongated commercials for the next movie then I have some bad news for you. @EliotETC: I hope the BvS reviews even out and get less mean. I really enjoyed it and thought it was a great launchpad for the Justice League franchise
@EliotETC: Ben's Batman is the closest we've seen to deranged Frank Miller TDKR. He's a badass hero but also paranoid and gives no fucks. [Reply]
It was at 8% after the first 20 or 25 reviews. I'm actually surprised it got up around 40% already after that. There's usually 200-250 total reviews for major movies compiled on rt as I recall, so there's plenty left. [Reply]

Exactly even some of the more picky reviewers are even surprised by the venom of some of these early reviews. [Reply]

It's still at 42 reviews counted, and I've seen it at 39%, 40%, and now 41%. Maybe I just don't understand math? [Reply]
