If that makes it easier for you to take this loss, but KU is going to score more than this against a team that isn’t an elite defensive team like USC with the best defensive player in the NCAA in Mobley. It’s an absolutely brutal matchup for a team that relies so heavily on interior offense as KU does.

They were better, but couldnt hit shit when it counted. Against VCU, they were 5% from behind 3...Northern Iowa, they couldnt stop defensively.

This team just flat sucks.

This loss means very little too me. We've accomplished what I wanted which was making the tourney. The issues in this game are poor shooting and lack of rebounding. They are getting decent looks, just not hitting anything and they are one & done every time down the floor.

They need to start jacking 3s. I mean that almost certainly won’t end well either given how Agbaji and Braun are shrivelling up out there but they can’t attack Mobley any more and expect to have success. It won’t happen.
