Schefter says he thinks Mahomes probably won’t play but he doesn’t know. He said he wouldn’t be surprised to see him play next week vs the Vikings. Said the injury has been a week to week thing [Reply]
Yeah, even if he says he feels good and the docs think he could go i'd probably hold him out this week. Just be cautious with it and go next week. [Reply]

The #Chiefs won't close the door on QB Patrick Mahomes playing vs. the #Packers yet, but they're moving full steam ahead with Matt Moore as their No. 1 quarterback for now. https://t.co/LhIP9NzFYV

I don't know if many of you have noticed this as I have for weeks now. Patrick Mahomes has a little bit of Valgus knees. If you look at his legs when he is in shotgun waiting for the hike directly from behind, they come inward. Valgus knees usually comes from having weak hip flexors. Patrick is built different than many others. I think he uses this to his advantage. Them weak hip flexors allow him to contort himself at the waist and hips a lot so that he can throw crazy good off balance passes. So with that comes in my guess loose ligaments and tendons in the knees. This is why I think he was able to dislocate his patella easily without much damage. I believe the supporting ligaments aren't firm. I noticed this with his knees months ago and thought he should wear knee braces as a cautious measure. Just something I noticed a long time ago. And before you say bs about credentials I'll beat you to it. I do have degree(s), and I have degree in Kiniesiology/Sport Science.
