Broncos fans hoping the guy they gave a 1st and 3rd rd pick to get will be a competent backup in year 2.

Chirs Harris Jr., Aqib Talib and Bradley Roby make one good trio of cornerbacks for the Denver Broncos. pic.twitter.com/fRMZ4BOQPi

Sorry, that was terribly worded...

I was trying to double quote RJ and Knowmo, and ask if they understood the fact that, hey, we're both going to be underperformers this year...

I only mentioned you because you and vailpass are the only reasonable Broncos fans on this forum

Word out of pile high is pretty bleak for the upcoming season. Preperations are being made for a basement finish.

Dont forget that Osweiler cost them a 2nd round pick too...How many quality players are still on their roster from the 2011-2014 drafts? They are going to get old in a hurry...

You have to make gambles to win and get the player you want.

Chiefs will find out in 2-3 years if the 1st and 3rd were worth their move.

J.J. Watt is reportedly feeling no restrictions from his back injury. Will he be back to his dominant self in 2017? pic.twitter.com/XLLDTJFG4U

Yep, only because our SEVENTH round pick is playing so well and has room to grow as well.

Meanwhile kc fans are excited about a guy they moved up for who isn't going to play this coming year unless there is an injury.

It works both ways.

Joe Woods, on Vance Joseph's ability to communicate with players & lead them: "He's very similar to Mike Tomlin in terms of those traits."

#Broncos' Woods. "VJ has the ability that when he tells you something, even if you don’t believe it, you’ll believe it” @DenverChannel

When you have a GM who hits on the FA's he brings in missing in the draft doesn't hurt as much.

BTW the 2014 team has 3 contributors, 2 starters if you count Roby as the nickle back. Latimer is still around until TC at least he is very good on ST's.

There are multiple players from those years who moved on and are still on NFL rosters.

Lets look at the 2015 draft now:
Ray is Starting
Sambustillo (who is supposed to be pushing Bolles for the LT gig)
Heuerman (The Latimer of this draft?)
Garcia is starting
Doss is getting Websters snaps this year.
Kilgo is with the Pats.
Siemian is either starting or pushing a 1st round pick for the job (I prefer to see Trevor start)
I think Nixon is still kicking around.

That is 7 guys right there if anything this team is getting younger than if they had a bunch of 4th through 7th year starters.

Since I am bored lets look at 2016

Lynch (pushing Siemian for the job)
Gotsis (has a chance to be a factor in the DL Rotation)
Simmons Flashed big last year great depth, will keep Ward and Stewart fresh
Booker he will get touches.
McGovern TC and PS will tell. Needed OL Depth anyway.
Janovitch was playing well until he got hurt. Love this kid.
Parks, See Simmons above.
Dixon is punting well

7 more guys involved in the rotation

Throw in the unknows from this years draft and you have a young team with quality depth if all are healthy.
