This should have been the approach from day 1 Take more strict measures on the more high risk and populated areas while leaving the low risk area alone to drive commerce.

There aren’t low risk areas.

It’s just timing of where the waves are hitting

That's not 100% true. Areas that are dense such as NY are much more or a risk than say middle america which is fairly spread out.

More risk because there are more people and are around each other more sure

But there’s also a lot more hospitals and health care available. In some rural areas that’s not the case

The wave is breaking on New York now. It will break on other areas at different times. It’s not really debatable. That’s why it’s better to shut it all down

Here’s possibly some good news that the measures in New York are working

I think it is debatable. What is happening in NY may happen elsewhere and may not. We cannot say for sure that what is going on in NY will happen everywhere.

It’s already happening elsewhere

Take a look at New Orleans and LA

New York hasn’t grown as fast as initially feared.

But we’re seeing in Italy that even when all travel is restricted if you still allow some the virus continues to spread.

It's not debatable. It will happen and it's already happening. The numbers just aren't going to look as impressive because you're talking about smaller towns. Look at that article I posted about Albany, GA. They're making nurses continue to work even though they've tested positive, and their hospital system turned to the underground market to buy supplies.

It's just never going to seem as impressive as New York because there aren't a bazillion people there. But if you're living there it's going to be a nightmare. It's not like that scene will play out in every single town, but it's going to happen and it's going to be ugly.

We don't know that. It might. It could. It also might not.

I would say forcing health care workers to work while they have a very contagious virus because your system if overwhelmed is extremely ugly, but it's a free country and you're welcome to disagree.
