Snyder's Man of Steel, which rebooted the Superman franchise, has grossed north of $600 million worldwide since it hit theaters this June.

According to two sources with knowledge of the movie, Warner Bros. intends to announce the news at its Comic-Con International panel Saturday morning. Said a Warner Bros. spokesperson, “We don’t comment on rumors regarding these properties.”
“Man of Steel” director Zack Snyder is expected to reunite with screenwriter David S. Goyer and star Henry Cavill for the new film. It’s unlikely Christian Bale will step back into the bat suit, as the actor has indicated publicly that he has moved on from his days as Bruce Wayne.
“Man of Steel” producer and “Dark Knight” trilogy director Christopher Nolan is expected by some to produce the project, but the exact nature of his involvement is unclear.
The move marks the culmination of years of effort on the part of Warner Bros. and DC Comics to bring their superheroes together in a similar fashion to their primary competitor Marvel, which successfully combined its superheroes into a $1.5-billion box-office hit with “The Avengers.”
In the comic world, the two heroes are teaming up in a new series, “Batman/Superman,” by writer Greg Pak and artist Jae Lee.

I love Keaton more than anyone, but this is the best live action Batman ever. And it's not even remotely close. #BatmanvSupermanBatmanvSuperman.png
Also, naysayers... Zack Snyder + Chris Terrio = WIN. You want a race, well DC may have just caught up with one movie. #BatmanvSupermanBatmanvSuperman.png

Also, many aspects are not what people are expecting. The trailers were cleverly deceptive. #BatmanvsSupermanBatmanvSuperman.png

I thought #BatmanvSupermanBatmanvSuperman.png was spectacularly entertaining, anchored by strong performances from Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot.

Lots to process and think about, but overall BvS is an excellent movie #BVSPremiere
@BenTheKahn
@AMSismyname But Eisenberg's Luthor and Affleck's Batman were clear highlights of the movie
@KINGofKINGS0007 @Brainiac_13 The beginning felt a little slow, but once it got going, man oh man did it get good
@DgPedroperez I liked the angle they found, where's earnestly trying to just do the right thing in an impossibly complex world
@DgPedroperez I'd already liked Cavill in MoS, but he's clearly more comfortable and confident in the role this time around

Overall, I left #BatmanvSuperman looking forward to seeing it again.
I liked it, best movie I have seen since deadpool, Batfleck was okay, Gadots Wonder woman was good, Cavel was superman, followed a lot of DKR, lifting scenes and dialog wholesale, the opening is powerful, you can understand why the bat wants superman gone I enjoyed the hell out of this movie Bat fans should go, wonder woman fans will wish their girl got more screen time( and they are right), Superman fans I got no idea what you guys want, the cameos are short and have NO interaction with the main plot, Lex was meh, liked him better in the kimmel deleted scenes [Reply]

How many (and what were they) movies have you seen since Deadpool? [Reply]
Meh. I'm always suspicious of pre-release twitter hype for this reason. The "reviews" usually come from people specifically invited to attend and who have personal connections to the production.
Most of the nerd Twitter accounts I've seen that run superhero YouTube pages that are critical give it an 8-9/10 and call it epic but a multiple time viewing in theaters cause so much is going on. Some even liking it more the 2nd time. Some are still trying to process what they saw. [Reply]
