He really is. The Chiefs absolutely can afford to lose this game, especially if the Texans beat the Raiders. Regardless, I wouldn't chance it and I'd start Moore, and see what happens. Chiefs may just surprise... [Reply]
I know it's Matt Moore but it's also Andy Reid. Andy will show everyone how good of a coach he is by surprising everyone with a great showing. He is a backup qb whisperer. Let's just be happy mahomes looks way ahead of schedule. [Reply]
610 just reported that multiple doctors across the country that have nothing to do with the NFL or the Chiefs cleared Mahomes to practice yesterday. [Reply]

He’s going to play, it has nothing to do with needing to win GB game. It has everything to do with Mahomes. Think about his role model Farve. What would Farve do?
His injury was a freak accident, he avoided anymore damage. If he sits 3 weeks and then come back in and gets a injury what’s the difference.
I get we want to protect him, we want to protect him from himself. But I don’t think we should be so quick to get in front of Mahomes greatness.
If Mahomes wants to play let him, game plan to protect him, but stay out of his way. Let him write his own career narrative.
He wants to be remembered as a tough SOB, so get out of the way of greatness [Reply]

Favre also ended up with a huge addiction to painkillers. I have no interest in mahomes walking around like big Ben limping all over the place. We spent the first few years coaching him to slide and throw the ball away. He doesn't have to prove anything to anybody. They know he's tough and his teammates know how badly he wants to go on the field. We don't need Reid and mahomes begging the training staff to let him play. This decision should 100% be driven on when the training staff believes is a reasonable timeline. We should be thankful that Minnesota may actually be realistic. No need to push anything aggressive. What you seem to be missing is doctors and training staff already cleared him. He wouldn’t be on the field practicing if he wasnt [Reply]
