They overachieved in the back half of the season and through most of the playoffs. They're a sadsack franchise going against an established big market team. If pointing this out is negative then I dunno what to tell you.

I'm not sure they should do that, but think about it, the Bruins will be pumped, the Blues always blow their wad in the first period-and-a-half, so all the Bruins need to do is allow the Blues to be Blues, skate, skate, skate, pass, pass, pass, take a shot with the same screen they had 8 seconds ago, and make sure nobody's in front of the net to play a rebound.

I'm not sure if you play hockey (I do), and the style of play the Blues are playing, given their size, isn't going to allow them to keep their legs for three solid periods. IMO, they really need to start putting somebody in front of the net and quit thinking the passing around is going to result in an open shot (like Marchand got tonight for the first goal). They're wasting far too much time looking for that crease instead of blasting a wristers and slap-shots on goal, and daring the Bruins to keep taking those pucks to the body. Raise a few of them to the chest area (but not the head, that's uncool!), then you might soften them up a bit.

Binny was good until the 3rd. Rask has been known to choke himself. Blues play better on the road than at home. All I’m saying is game 7 isn’t already lost. Yes I’m quite aware of the Blues history of heartbreak.
