There is a chance he was trying to see if he would step up under pressure in a road game they were supposed to lose anyway. But even then letting it go that long is criminal. [Reply]

Prison Bail! is going to have a field day.
Admitting "defeat" in that instance means telling Lon Kruger and everyone else that it is a viable strategy to foul Udoka at the end of the game. Self apparently was willing to risk this game to show it wasn't, but it blew up completely in his face. He'll be faced with the same issue again in an upcoming game (almost certainly in a NCAA tournament game) and you'd hope the decision will be different. It's not like it's a particularly hard decision to make. [Reply]

maybe i misread your sarcasm, but I have a hard time believing Self would do something like that w/ the conference title race on the line vs probably the 1 or 2 teams that have a chance to unseat their reign.
Someone already said it, but this was 100% Andy Reid level kind of shit what Self pulled tonight. [Reply]
Holy balls. I had an OU fan that had to mentally retarded but he was clapping and screaming rock chalk Jayhawks the last couple of minutes. NON STOP. [Reply]

Yeah, it was beyond obvious by the time they gave up 3-4 possessions in a row with him that it wasn't a viable strategy to continue it. And yet he continued it anyway. Just stubborness. [Reply]

No sarcasm meant. But it was fucking mind numbing. Especially listening to OU fan boo each foul when clearly LOn had a plan.

Unbelievable actually. Put in light foot or despususuays. And we win. [Reply]
