That's where Passer Rating is basically a bullshit stat. OL blows protection on 3 straight plays, QB does the smart thing and throws it out of bounds instead of taking sacks or throwing a dumb ball into coverage. But his Passer Rating & Completion Percentage won't look pretty after that sequence.
