Nzoner's Game Room>Anyone here doing the E-Cig / Vape thing?
pr_capone 03:05 AM 11-17-2013
Thanks to my vape, I've had only one single cigarette in the past 3 weeks. I have zero cravings for them and I feel considerably better. In fact, I still have about 5 smokes left in a pack and just can't see myself smoking those... don't want to.

Even better... 5ml of juice, which costs $5, lasts me about 2 weeks meaning that I am spending less in the long run. I only smoked, at most, a pack a week... but still.

I tried the Blu E-Cigs but they were terrible. Trying to "smoke" out of one of those was like trying to take a hit off a joint that was rolled WAY to tight.

I'm using an eGo-V v2 mega battery with variable voltage control with a gravity tank.

It is insane what is coming out these days. I remember being impressed with an ego twist and the idea of a tank to pick your juice, instead of a cartridge.

Yup. I have been into vaping off and on since e-cigs were available here in America. They did manage to keep me from smoking in the car and that was a big deal for a father of four kids. It has only been about 10 years or so and it has come a loooong way.

Oh, and...God dammit! I had almost made up my mind but that thing looks fucking nice. I see that it has a 5 ml capacity and comes with a huge array of coils. And it's a top fill. Mother fucker. Now I can't decide.

It looks like the diameter of the TFV4 would be about 1/10 of an inch wider than the width of the Fuchai. It's 24.5 mm versus 7/8 of an inch.

Although that might help with adjusting airflow at the base, IDK.

My bad. Yea the massive choice provided in their coil selection is very tempting. I like the dual air flow control of it too (One at the base and one at the drip tip). Running at the wattage this tank permits NEEDS some cooling down.

I'm not too pressed in regards to appearance, especially at the cost of performance or volume. I can see where that would be a draw back to some though.

One thing I will say negatively about the Fuchai, but can work around, is it only goes up to 572 F. My other mod, the SMY 170, goes up to 600 F and I quite enjoy that warmth. I don't mind it at 570 F, but to have a 200 W device not fire higher is a bit of a let down.

I'm went with the Fuchai because I know Segelei builds Tanks. I have a horrible habit of setting my mod in my lap while driving, forgetting, getting out of my car, and hearing the awful sound of my mod crashing on to concrete. I'm having firing difficulties with my mod now. It will also spontaneously turn off. $40 sold me regardless of the limit in temp.

That's how I quit as well. Having an alternative while driving was the wedge I needed.

I have been thinking about a different tank because of the airflow of the Atlantis. It blew me away went I stepped up from the Innokin rechargeable I was using. But now that I am used to what bottom fed vertical coils can do, the newer tanks at higher wattages look like they will give me the lung hits I sometimes crave. I'm all over the place in vaping styles depending on my mood. I smoked cigs, cigars and pipes so I like to replicate all of those - plus I like to take big ol' lung hits that only a vape seems to give me. I'm not too worried about the TC part of it. I may not even use that function. I do have to think about the overlap because I know I'll pick at it when it's in my hand. If it's minimal then it's worth the extra milli of juice in the tank.

It's authentic and as described by the seller. I really like the feel of it; it's quite comfy in the hands, but feels sturdy. Just as I would expect from Sigelei.

The fire button response time is quite quick, which is nice in comparison to my SMY. All buttons have a nice feel to them when pressing, but aren't super loud, which will make ghost vaping at my office much easier.

It is actually a lot smaller than I anticipated, but in a good way. The box has some weight to it. Enough to feel significant, but not so heavy to feel bulky. Perfect balance between the two, in my opinion.

I haven't had much of a run with it, so I'll report back on battery life.

If you are looking into this for the TC, I wouldn't recommend it though. As I expected, the 572 F just isn't enough power to get the flavor and warmth I prefer. This will be a Watt box, which it does extremely well. I'm about to change my Crown coil to kanthal to see how it does at higher watts.

I really like the resistance meter reading to the hundredth decimal place. The more the mod can identify, the more fine tuning the user can apply.

Here are some pics:

Haha! That's awesome. Let me know what you think.

Running this thing at 80W with my Crown is unbelieveably tasty. Becoming quite happy with this purchase.

I see what you mean about it feeling small in your hand. I'm tempted to go after a mini tank with top fill. I know the Arctic V8 has one. I haven't looked to see if the TFV4 offers a mini.
