“Man of Steel” producer and “Dark Knight” trilogy director Christopher Nolan is expected by some to produce the project, but the exact nature of his involvement is unclear.
The move marks the culmination of years of effort on the part of Warner Bros. and DC Comics to bring their superheroes together in a similar fashion to their primary competitor Marvel, which successfully combined its superheroes into a $1.5-billion box-office hit with “The Avengers.”
In the comic world, the two heroes are teaming up in a new series, “Batman/Superman,” by writer Greg Pak and artist Jae Lee.

As much as I want to like this movie, it just looks terrible. Unless the reviews after it comes out are good, I'm not wasting my money to see it. [Reply]
Deadpool looks better and better, while this looks worse and worse. It will be interesting to compare the movies v. trailers for these two once both have come out. [Reply]

Clearly an intelligent man who understands the greater good, but for whatever reason we have to force an illogical hatred into Batman to make him want to destroy Superman, and get into a heated argument with Alfred about why his hatred is justifiable.
Well, the trailer shows him in the city when Superman is fighting Zod and he's screaming and running towards the mayhem. My guess is his wife is killed and the girl is his daughter who survived. That would create an irrational hatred. [Reply]
