I was watching tonight's episode and some other episodes before that, and it struck me that the zombies on TWD seem to move much faster than those we've seen on FTWD. [Reply]

Wolverine's? Right before that happened I was wondering why they weren't in this episode. Though the debate between Rick and Daryl might be foreshadowing running into them.
EDIT: Talking Dead confirms that I'm not the only one with this theory.
Was it Ron? Not buying that. Not yet.
Enid? A call for help maybe? (see next weeks preview. And what is JSS?)
Brilliant episode that blew my mind. So a bit long winded here. There are a few things I didn't understand though. Non-spoilery takes:
Opening scene was unreal. Last camera pan was unreal.
What happened to Tara earlier?
The black/white color changes were cool. Threw me for a loop for a bit until I figured out the pacing. Then I was hooked.
Ron doesn't want any part of Carl. They are either going to end up BFF's, ala Nicholas and Glenn, or that guy will be dead.
Liking Abraham more and more. Everyone's got to tie one on every now and then. He does like to get drunk. Seemed like a good time to do so. You've got to deal with that shit sometime.
Carol's acting is so transparent to me, knowing the real her. Morgan sees right through it. Not sure she trusts him. Maybe it goes both ways.
Loved the exchange between Maggie and Tara. Very poignant and touching. Rick's is a good group that does what it has to do. Interesting juxtaposition.
Loved that Nicholas is stepping up. And Glen for taking him under his wing but making him earn it. He's transitioned and is scoring points. He'll probably die.
Rick and Morgan remind me of Red and Andy. Enjoyed the look he gave Morgan after
Spoiler!
putting Carter down. That takes care of that!
But having to explain to Morgan what happened to Reg was odd. Morgan saw the whole thing.
Gabriel is not made for this world and he is not scoring points. He better find a way to endure himself or Rick will throw him to the wolves (pun intended).
Tough love from Rick's gang. "I thought you weren't taking any more chances" - Morgan. Morgan is on board with killing the weak.
I can't believe
Spoiler!
Eugene just let those guys in. Everything was cool but stupid move brainiac. I was like WTF are you doing?! I think some of that was left on the cutting room floor. Heath did mention Deanna to cover for it. Still didn't trust them early on. My biggest gripe.
Heath (Dr. Dre) is cool. I like him.
:-) Lot's of little humorous moments in this episode.
"We'll do it live!" - Abraham
"I fully respect the hair game." - Eugene.
"Did you take my protein bar?" "Coulda swore there was another peanut butter bar." - Morgan. :-).
"That's the way it always is; You always think there is one peanut butter left." - Michonne. We all know she took that bar.
And good for Carl BTW. I like how they introduced that as well. In this world, he is alpha as fuck.
Very, very well done episode. I was asked recently which I like better, BB or TWD. Easily TWD for me. This show just takes everything to new heights. I'm a bigger fan of the story than the zombies and graphic kills. Though those rock too! I would have accepted less less from this episode. I'm really liking FTWD but it will never be this good. It just can't be. But if it does, look out.

Yeah I can see that too.
I was referring to the end scene in The Wizard of Oz when everything was black and white again and Dorothy woke up to find her family and everyone from the farm present.
But I can totally see that scene from LOTR when Frodo wakes up. [Reply]

Possible... I read it more like just not wanting her to be part of it. But maybe. :-) [Reply]
