cooper barrett - do you post on TRACKFORUM.COM ? I never thought of begging for a SILVER Badge because I don't know anybody that would offer one. After years of being in the pits and garages and on pit lane it's really not that big of a deal. I'm just there for the SOUND! F1 SUCKS since they went turbo. Vettel was right when he said the new engines sound like *hit! BigRedChief - thanks for posting those pics. Who are you rooting for this Sunday? [Reply]

I have Tony Stewart just miles away and Carpenter's team and his sponsors have been very nice to me. I am just a pe-on but they are great people. I volunteer at a lot of their events but sometimes feel I get the better end of the deal. I wish I was a big dog and could sit in Fuzzy's suite on race day but, as humbling as it is.... I take the scraps.
I will try to get pics posted in the near future.... right now I have had 2 cocktails and the SO had to drive me home.... That and she is looking at me cross eyed about flying out in the AM...long story... [Reply]

40% scattered thunderstorms on race day. As always this time of the year, perfect temp, 77. [Reply]

My SO talked me out of it, I have circulatory and fluid retention issues on one of my legs, old water skiing injury. She, not so politely, informed me to plan ahead and we could drive down, joining me in Tampa to get me out of the hospital was not in her fun nor wart she signed up for.
Call me cuckold or whatever you might but she has a point, live to fight another day... I'll watch from the recliner and enjoy the scenery from there....I can't just run to Lowe's and find another like her.
And with that, I am following her to the other end of the house.. Nite [Reply]

"This is our Monaco," IndyCar veteran Tony Kanaan said. [Reply]

Indy will always be the big dog. Everyone else competes for 2nd place. [Reply]
